South Iceland – the land of the waterfalls. One beautiful and impressive waterfall after another one, including for the waterfalls Urriðafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Svartifoss, and Öxaráfoss. Me, and some four other girls, decided to rent a car and to explore the south coast of Iceland over a weekend.
The first day included the Urriðafoss waterfall, the famous waterfall Seljalandsfoss, the airplance wrack, and the Fimmvörðuháls waterfall. On the second day we went to the Glacier Lagoon, and the post for that will be published soon too. Before driving back to our accomendation, we stopped at Skaftafell too and hiked to the Svartifoss waterfall. On the third and last day we went to the Golden Circle, which I already saw mostly. However, new for me was the crater lake and the waterfall Öxaráfoss at the Thing.
